Marley is a 1 year old American Bulldog/Mastiff mix that is currently being fostered in Echo Park.
My friend found him dumped in Elysian Park 6 weeks ago and brought him to the shelter. His owners were contacted from his microchip who told the shelter they had given him away. The second owners also didn't want him so dumped him in Elysian Park.
He is very sweet and gentle, is bridle with a white markings on his face and white socks.
He is currently 60 lbs but should be 80 lbs as healthy weight for his body size.
He is fully potty trained, gets along great with other dogs and is making good progress on crate training. I have had him around my dog ( submissive female) and other male dogs.
He responds very well to training, has the basic commands down and walks well on leash. He gets a little too excited when he sees other dogs so pulls a little.
He is fully vaccinated, has a healthy appetite and has no health issues.
We will be happy to foster him until he finds the right home. Working with a rescue would be great because that would mean he will never end up in the shelter system again.
Please give this handsome young boy a chance, he has already won our heart.
