My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Ben. I am a 3 to 5 year old, red n white Cocker Spaniel boy. I was picked up as a stray by NC animal control. At the shelter, they found that I was horribly matted, so they shaved me down and then tried to find me a home. Unfortunately, no one would even consider adopting me. I had a cherry eye, needed a dental and my skin looked awful due to chronic neglect or maybe from being on the wrong food diet.

I am heartworm negative and the vet found that I have dry eye and a respiratory infection. These issues are being treated. For my skin/coat issues, I am now eating a better food diet to see if indeed my neglected skin just needs a tweak to know if it is from food allergies. These kind folks could use your help to raise the funds to get my cherry eye tacking done, I will need to be neutered, and have a dental. If possible, could you be one of my Angel Sponsors, your kindness to help me get well would be greatly appreciated. I am a sweet cocker boy who needs to find someone to adopt me in a home where I am the only dog. I can not be placed into a home with children. I do have some crate issues, so these nice folks are working on this with me. I will be neutered shortly and I have been working with the pet specialist at the rescue vet to try and correct some of my behavioral issues. I still have a ways to go before I will be ready to go to a home. Please donate to help pay the costs of my vet
care needs, I would greatly appreciate your kindness.
