Petey*'s Story...
Courtesy Listing:

Petey was taken to a veterinary clinic to be put down when his human owners started a family and no longer wanted a dog. A clinic employee took pity on Petey and is trying to give him a second chance. Petey is a young, Pitbull Terrier. He is neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on all vaccinations. Petey shows no aggression and is very gentle--he does have an energetic tail! Petey enjoyed sleeping with his previous owner and also crates well. Petey's future is still uncertain because he cannot stay with his current caregiver. For more information on adopting Petey, please call 979.453.1554. There will be a rehoming fee for Petey.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petey*, a Cat Spring Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Cat Spring, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Cat Spring.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cat Spring already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cat Spring breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cat Spring paves the way for another one to be saved.
