Important Note

Tia is best friends with Tamera. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Tia and Tamera are the snuggly love and glamor you need more of in your life. These strongly bonded adult sisters are affectionate, attentive, playful, and very fond of laps, boxes and toys. Other cats, not so much. Originally bottle fed as kittens, they were recently returned to us due to severe health issues in their adoptive home. They must be adopted together.

They are vaccinated, FIV/FELV tested, de-wormed, spayed, and fabulous. All adoptions require an application and donation. Please find the appropriate contact for this cat by clicking on the picture of the cat. Once you click on the picture you will see an email. If you can not find this you can just email using the default email and the appropriate person will be contacted shortly.

About North Brooklyn Cats

About Our Rescue Group...

North Brooklyn Cats specializes in taking in orphaned "bottle-babies" from other rescues and from the streets of our neighborhood. These tiny kittens require round-the-clock care and often don't do well in a shelter environment. We also rescue cats and kittens from the NYC kill shelters. Trap-Neuter-Release, TNR, is also a big part of what we do. The friendly straycats and kittens that are often found on the streets also become candidates for adoption. We have many years experience volunteering and working for shelters and rescue organizations in New York City.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We present a selection of cats and kittens for adoption every Sunday from 1 to 5 pm at Muddy Paws Pet Supplies, 447 Graham Ave., Williamsburg, Brooklyn. North Brooklyn Cats also works with other rescue groups, sharing resources, and participating in group adoption events whenever possible.

Our Adoption Process...

Cat and kitten adoptions require a $125.00 donation, which helps us cover the costs of delivering them already spayed/neutered, tested for felv/fiv, current on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for any health problems we were aware of. We generally require that kittens under five months of age be adopted in two's unless you already have another pet. Adoptions require an application that asks for two references and a contract. We deliver your new cat to your home, generally within a few days of getting your application. We are happy to help should you need advice or assistance with your new companion before or after the adoption.
