Chico's Story...
Meet Chico! Chico is a 3 yr old, 9 lb, male Chihuahua who was turned in to the shelter as a stray. He was very afraid so the shelter called Sherry's Place and asked us to take him. As soon as his foster mom picked him up he gave her a big kiss. This sweet boy is active and loves to play with toys, walks well on a leash, and has demonstrated that he is housetrained. He gets along well with dogs and has been snuggling with the other dogs in his foster home This is an affectionate, happy little boy and he loves to be with his person and cuddle on the couch or in bed. He follows his foster mom everywhere she goes. He has been neutered and brought up to date on his immunizations and is now ready for his new home. Chico is fostered in Newtown, PA, and his adoption fee is $400.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chico, a Newfield Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Newfield, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Newfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
