My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

GARY and GALE are a short-haired brother and sister pair. He is solid-gray and she is solid-black, about five months old. They are part of a litter of four kittens that arrived at the shelter at eight weeks old, with their mother Grace, who had been raising them outdoors all by herself. They were scared when they arrived, and huddled together in a pile of fur. They have made great progress getting over their fears and can be picked up and handled now. They are curious and playful and like to explore. They are ready for a home together.

GERRY and GLEN are the other two kittens, both solid-gray, short-haired boys. They would also like to go to a loving home together. All four have good appetites, and devour a bowl of Fancy Feast in minutes.

Their mother GRACE is a solid-gray, short-haired kitty about 2 ½ years old. She is quiet and reserved and a little shy, but not “feral”, and she is getting along OK in a room filled with cats. She might have been somebody’s kitty once. Grace has handed over the kittens for adoption, and is now ready for a forever home of her own.

Once these cats move into their new homes, they will probably hide. This is normal. They need safe hidey-holes and lots of patience and understanding until they get used to their new surroundings.
