Introducing Scottie and Cosmo.

When you meet these brothers in a safe place-- like their bedroom-- they just melt, purring and showing you that they love being held and kissed. And they love a laser light and balls with jingles. They are, however, easily frightened by loud noises. We can't blame them, since they lived most of their kittenhood in a feral colony, their lives imperiled by a ruthless neighbor who threatened to shoot all the cats. We have saved many cats from this location: Carter, Luke, Iris DeMent, Jon Prine, Hannah, Jeremiah, Eddie Harris, and Les McCann.

At this stage in the socialization process, Scottie and Cosmo are best suited to a quiet home with adults/ older children. They need some coddling and peace to help them develop into the confident cats we know are inside those timid striped youngsters.

Won't you open your heart and home to two sweet, yet shy, tabby snugglebunnies?

About Frisky Whiskers Network, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Frisky Whiskers Network, Inc. was founded in 2006. We are an all-volunteer, nonprofit cat rescue operating in the St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan area. We believe that every cat deserves a chance to have their own human family to know the love and security of a forever home...

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption events every weekend from 1-5 pm Saturday and 1-3 pm on Sundays at the Petco store in Kirkwood, Missouri. We also have a few cats who reside at the Petco Kirkwood during the week. (During holidays adoptions are done by appointment only)

To adopt a cat from Frisky Whiskers or to inquire about a particular cat, visit us at an adoption event, email us at friskywhiskers@hotmail.com, or call us at (636) 343-7106 or TEXT to:(314) 477-9038 & (314)780-3325.

Our Adoption Process...

We ask people fill out an adoption application, and we interview applicants. Our goal is to ensure a good fit between cat and humans. Once we have reviewed the application, we require you to complete an adoption contract.

We do not discriminate against anyone for reasons of race, religion, politics, gender, or sexual orientation, but we reserve the right to refuse an adoption based on information we gain during the application process. We try very hard to match our cats' needs and requirements with applicants' lifestyles and circumstances. Our goal is to make every adoption a happy and lasting one!

Our adoption fees cover vet care for emergencies and medical issues in addition to routine care. Before adoption, all animals receive the following care: spay/neuter, vaccinations for FVCRP & rabies, test for felv/fiv, microchip, and treatment for fleas/parasites.

Adoption fees are as follows: 1) senior cats $95, 2) cats 1-7 $125, and 3) under one year $150. We do not intend to imply that senior cats are less valuable; rather, this fee schedule reflects the fact that senior cats tend to come to us already spayed and neutered.
