Puppy Doc's Story...
Doc is a sweet white and black female puppy. She is about 7 weeks old. Her distinctive eye-patch makes her truly unique. She has a sense of adventure and loves to play. She also likes to give plenty of kisses and will crawl up to your face to give you as many as she can.

Doc was born outside on private property, where her mama was being kept outside and neglected. After protecting her babies from danger, Mom and babies were brought to a big scary shelter with the family's fate unknown. Doc was rescued from the high kill shelter in Texas with only hours to spare. Doc knows nothing but pure joy, and her little tail never stops wagging! She has been raised with her 6 other brothers and sisters, as well as her mom. She is learning how to potty outside and will make a family very happy.

Doc is current on vaccinations for her age.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Puppy Doc, a Austin Labrador Retriever/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Beagle for sale in Austin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Beagle breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
