Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Fluffy is a white/tan 10 month old terrier mix who weighs about 20 lbs. She is a beautiful little girl who has not been treated well so far. She was an outside dog 24/7 with little or no human interaction, sporadically fed and watered. We took her mom and siblings into rescue and now we have this last little girl. Yay! Despite having been been neglected and poorly treated, Fluffy is loving, sweet, submissive and friendly. She is so happy to finally be out of her yard that she wants to stay indoors all the time and has to be carried out on the sidewalk like a little baby! She particularly loves being on the furniture.
Fluffy has high puppy energy and is comfortable in her crate when she feels a little insecure. She does not respond well to a regular leash but she does nicely with a harness. She adores being around people but she may take a little while to warm up to new people. She will need some attention and training because she has not yet had the opportunity to be housetrained, leash-trained or learn indoor rules. She is still shy and a little scared of loud noises and dogs barking in the street but give her a minute to settle down and she is just fine. She is so grateful and willing to learn we think she will come along quickly. She does not yet know how to walk on leash and doesn't like the feel of the leash on her. But again, she is so smart and willing to learn and trust we feel that it is only a matter of time before a patient, experienced hand can help her to grow in confidence and trust. Fluffy is very playful and high energy and true to her name really really fluffy. We do not recommend her for a home with small kids until she is more settled. She is a darling little girl who will repay your love and attention with life long gratitude. She needs the security of a forever home. P.S. the way to her heart is through belly rubs!
