Facts about Lizzie

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: ps_39396186
  • Hair: Short

This is Lizzie. She was taken from a hoarder house last fall, which makes her about a year old now. She has very slight CH and sometimes she doesn't hear real well. She's not totally deaf, as she can hear canned food lids!

She's super friendly, loves other cats, will sleep with you if you let her, and has no desire to get on tables or countertops.  Her coloring is gorgeous, she's a torbie, or tabico as some people call them. Brown tabby with red mixed in here and there. Gorgeous green eyes. NEVER meows!

Lizzie's mom tested negative for feline leukemia and fiv, she's spayed and up to date on shots.  Because we are a network of foster homes, we require an approved application prior to visiting kitties.  You can submit yours here: www.charmcityanimalrescue.com/application

About Charm City Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

CCAR is not a shelter, but we do obtain our animals from shelters. Donations are a big part of rescue. Adoption fees rarely cover the expenses involved in saving and caring for an animal. All money received by our organization is always applied directly towards the care and well-being of rescued animals. The money allows us to spay/neuter, vaccinate, and feed animals who have had a very difficult life before we rescued them, and we use our own funds up front for their care. Donations help ease that burden, and make it possible to save more lives. We rely on private donations, fundraisers, and adoption fees to fund our rescue, which covers the cost of out-of-pocket expenses such as vet care, food, litter, etc. We are a federally recognized 501c3, which makes all donations tax deductible.
