WINDY's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

WINDY's Story...
Meet Windy.  Windy is a 2 year old female black & white smooth coated Border
Collie.  Windy's personality is quite gregarious, and outgoing.  Windy has a
nice temperament and is quite affectionate.  She is socialized with other
dogs and she probably would be best placed in a home with another dog, as
she can be vocal.  She is leash trained, but needs work on her basic
obedience.  Windy will need an active lifestyle and someone who is committed
to providing mental stimulation to keep her from getting bored.  Once she is
properly trained, she will be an awesome dog and a great K-9 companion.

If you are interested in meeting our dogs, please fill out an adoption
application.  We require a pre-approved application to be on file before any
meet and greets are scheduled.  The electronic application can be found on
our website at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

WINDY, a San Pedro Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in San Pedro, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in San Pedro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Pedro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Pedro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Pedro paves the way for another one to be saved.
