Hello everybody! My name is Briggs. I'm an 8-year-old neutered male Miniature Poodle/Spaniel mix. I weigh about 17 pounds.
I came into a local high-kill shelter as an owner surrender. My previous family could no longer keep me due to them moving. I don't know why I couldn't go with them. I'm pretty small and really sweet, so I can't imagine that the reason I couldn't tag along was because of my size or temperament. It seems like I would fit within the parameters of the typical pet policy. Your guess is as good as mine, though!
I'm not going to lie, I was pretty sad and confused when my owners left me at the shelter, but I only spent 5 days there before CageFree picked me up. I'm enjoying getting to know everybody here, but what I really want for the holidays is to find a forever home. Can you be the one to make my wish come true?
You already know that I'm great with people, but what you don't know is that I like other dogs, too! If you have another dog at home, I'm OK with that.
I lived in my previous home for a few years before my family brought me to the shelter. I was an indoor/outdoor dog so it's likely that I know to do my business outside.
I'm a pretty mellow guy, but you've probably already guessed that based on my video. I walk great on a leash and I'm not very comfortable pulling ahead. I really just like to stay near you. My family has said that I'm a nice dog and always enjoyed it when we had company. I sound like the dream dog, right?
