Audrey's Story...
We are excited for you to meet Audrey, one of our wonderful seniors! This golden girl is a perfect mix breed and 11 years old. At her age and after waiting for so long for her forever home, Audrey is a bit timid at first, but a total love at heart, and she seems to love everyone she meets. She is a quiet, well-behaved girl. All she needs is a little reassurance, a soft voice and a tender touch. We believe she would do best in a home with older children since she hasn't had much experience around young children. Our girl just needs a comfortable, secure, loving home to live out her golden years. Audrey is a testament to the advantages of loving an older pup. There is no chance that she will chew up furniture, or shoes, or keep you up at night with endless energy, as she has long ago outgrown all of that. At this stage in her life, she really doesn't require much. The one thing that never slows down with an older dog is their capacity to love. And our Audrey is proof of that. She has dreamed for too long of a loving family to share their home and life with her, and we can't help but believe that family is out there.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Audrey, a Jackson Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
