Lollie's Story...
Oh, Lollie Lollie! Hi! I'm Lollipop from Lebanon. I can to Michigan to find my forever home. Just like my name, I'm sweet as can be. I'm about 10 months old and am about 40 pounds. My foster mom thinks I might be a fancy Belgian Malinois mix. I like to play with other dogs, chase cats (but I'm not mean!), and play with toys. I'm not much for fetch but I love to give a stuffed animal a good shred. I moved to Michigan to find a family who will continue training and working on my leash skills, help me exercise every day, and give me LOTS of belly rubs. I would like it if they had a fence to keep me safe because I like to chase birds. My foster mom is not sure how I am around kids yet. Though it's not my favorite, I do fine in my crate. I'm house trained, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and spayed. My adoption fee is $200. If you're looking for a treat, I'm your girl! Email rescueofhope@gmail.com for an application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lollie, a Grand Rapids Belgian Malinois dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Belgian Malinois for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Belgian Malinois dog from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Belgian Malinois breeders who help with Belgian Malinois rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
