I’m fantastic with most of my fellow felines (unless the cat decides to pick on me), especially shy ones. I’m also great with dogs and children.
Similar to James Bond, my past is a mystery. I was dropped off at the local shelter, but no one knows why or what my history was. They’re not even sure of my age, but we’re guessing 8-10 years old.
If I look a little rumpled, it’s because I have pancreatitis (my pancreas gets swollen and it hurts!). There’s no cure, but there is a treatment to help keep it in check. Once a week, my foster mom gives me a shot of the vitamin B12. The B12 helps me absorb nutrients, since my pancreas doesn’t do 100% of its job. I also get these enzymes sprinkled on my food so I can more easily digest it.
I’m neutered, up-to-date on all my shots, and one cool fellow. Please consider adopting me!
To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and either come to an adoption event or arrange to meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
