Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gizmo is a four-five year old border collie mix that was surrendered to our rescue when her mom had to move and could not take her two dogs with her. Her coat is beautiful, black with bright white and soft, soft, soft. She is just a sweetheart. Completely house trained. Loves everyone. Has no issues. Gizmo weighs around 30 lbs, so she is the perfect size.
Gizmo is in a foster home with other dogs and gets along with everyone. She is so playful. Loves children and has been raised around cats. She is completely house trained. Gizmo is ready for a HOME.
If you are interested in giving Gizmo a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly with questions about the dogs at 901-651-6322 or Angela with questions about our adoption process at 203-909-8861.
Gizmo's adoption donation is $550 which helps to cover the spaying, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), flea/tick prevention, heart worm prevention, vet examination, certificate of health and transportation. Gizmo has has a recent heart worm test and she is heart worm negative.
Gizmo is fostered in Tennessee. She will travel to her new home once she has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to Illinois, Wisconsin.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home
