Ernie's Story...
We know what you're thinking, and the answer is yes, Ernie is actually this good-looking!! This handsome boy is about 3 months old and came to our rescue from the local high kill shelter where he and his 3 siblings were abandoned at a very young age. They were barely 4 weeks old, emaciated, and facing some serious health issues that needed to be treated quickly. So we scooped up these babies and started them on the road to recovery thru good food, proper vetting and lots and lots of TLC. Clearly it worked and now Ernie is ready to find his forever home. He's a sweet little guy who is a serious snuggler and loves to join his people on the couch for some TV. He also promises not to complain if invited to sleep in the bed with them at night. If Ernie is the puppy you've been looking for, please email us or contact us via our FB page at Wilson Animal Rescue in Memphis TN. His adoption fee is $500 which includes neuter and microchip, 2 rounds of puppy vaccinations, all necessary vetting and transportation to your area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ernie, a Chicago Labrador Retriever/Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Bull Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
