Bruno's Story...
Hey there! Bruno here and as an Extended Stay Club member I am really happy you stopped to check out my profile. What is Extended Stay you ask? Why it is a special club for us pooches who get overlooked for one reason or another. Being a member of the Extended Stay Club means my adoption donation is reduced to $100 in the hopes it will help me find a family to call my own. I am a dark, lean and handsome fellow! I love to go on adventures, walks along the water, hikes in the woods, play sessions in the yard; honestly I think it all sounds like fun. I am a sweet boy, affectionate and happy. I am pretty good for car rides, know how to walk on the leash (although you can't blame a young guy for pulling when he gets excited) and I am a master of "sit". I love all kinds of toys and enjoy playing with other pooches. I am considered a special needs adoption because I have had some intestinal issues during my stay here. The folks here make sure I get enough fiber in my food, probiotics and a diet for gastrointestinal health but my new family might need to adjust my food some more to find what diet will work best for me. If you are looking for a younger pooch but not a tiny puppy, enjoy spending time outdoors, have the time and patience for training and socializing than please come and meet me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruno, a Gloucester Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Gloucester, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Gloucester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gloucester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gloucester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gloucester paves the way for another one to be saved.
