Hi, we're Paso (12YO female lab mix) & Dudley (11YO basset hound). We are very loving pets who have lived primarily around adults. Sadly, our person is very ill and is not expected to outlive us, so we are in need of a quiet home in which we can continue our retirement. Ideally, you would be home most of the time, and perhaps you are retired yourself! We would like a comfy home where we can lounge around, and a back yard that is good for running around. We look forward to daily walks to the park or around the neighbourhood. We need to stay together, and preferably be your only dogs.
If you would like to meet us, please contact Christy Wollner at 720-829-7488.
Our adoption process is:
1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.
2. We'll contact you to schedule a home visit.
3. If the pet looks like a great match, fill out our Adoption Agreement online (or Foster-to-Adopt Agreement), pay the Adoption Fee, and arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
Your message has been sent to Animal Rescue of the Rockies.
You'll receive a copy, too, at to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
