My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bonbon: female, brown and black Maine Coon mix

This little green-eyed girl hates my camera. My goodness but she has been hard to photograph! She looks away, she looks down, she looks annoyed and cranky, she looks over her shoulder, she buries her face. She will not smile for the camera.

This is all the more unfortunate because she is a loving little girl who likes to cuddle and be held and smiles all the time -- as long as there is not a camera in the room. Finally, I got a few tolerable photos but none that show her adorable sweet side. You will have to come see that for your self.

I am a particularly fond of green-eyed kitties. And everyone knows I can’t resist spotted tummies. Her tail is an extra full plume and is usually straight up in the air showing she is a happy girl.

So Bonbon, who is good enough to eat, is a very pretty, playful, curious kitten. She is happy to romp with other kitties but equally I think she would be happy as an only kitten to someone who could be a playmate to her. If you will wiggle a feather for her, she will entertain you with her antics and energy to get it.

Bonbon would like a lot of cuddling and love. When she knows and trusts you, she is a shoulder kitty, and I think that means she would be a lap/sleep-with-you kitty. She was all alone at the shelter as a little kitten and she loves the comfort of the snuggles and love that I think she missed.

She eats wet and dry food and is litterbox prefect.

Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
