My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This big, beautiful boy is Billy. The story of how we got Billy is as follows: Billy and his belongings (which show he was beloved and well cared for) were dumped at the Savers along with his probably deceased owners things. It was pathetic and he was very lucky that someone spotted him crouched, terrified, in the back of his cat carrier. He might have ended in the crushing machine!! There is no doubt that Billy would love to be someone's beloved pet once again. He's great with other cats and his new BFF is Lucky. He does not like orange cats, for whatever reason. He brought him in to East Bay Vet Clinic and he was tested , neutered, treated him for fleas and he got his rabies and distemper shot.....Now he is staying with us as we wanted to see how well he got along with other cats and what his temperament is like. So far, so good, He gets along well with Lucky and Mittens....he has slowly warmed up to them....there has been no cat fights....he has stopped hiding as he seems to become more comfortable with his surroundings. He even seems to like to have his head petted. He is a big handsome tiger cat and if you'd like to come and visit him then please stop by the Providence Petco on Sundays and meet him and Lucky
You may obtain an online application by logging on to CatAdoptionRI.org or by emailing catadoptionteam@aol.com. We are also at the Providence Petco on Sunday, with cats and kittens, ffrom 10 am to 3 pm. We will not be there on holidays....All of the cats and kittens are placed with the Rhode Island State mandated proof of spay or neuter. In order to take your new cat or kitten home with you, there must be an approved application prior to any placement. Application approval is usually within 24-48 hours. We, at CATS, are very proud of all of the cats and kittens that we help facilitate finding new forever homes, and work very hard to make sure they are happy, healthy and well socialized. All of the cats and kittens are fed only a high end cat food. You may call East Bay Veterinary Care at 286 Maple Avenue, in Barrington, RI and ask for Rita Monday thru Friday. The phone number is 401-247-1111 or you may call my cell phone at 401-440-9667. Hard copy medical records accompany each cat and kitten on adoption day as each cat or kitten is completely vetted prior to their placed. The policy is that all of our cats and kittens will be placed spayed or neutered, tested for feline aids/leukemia, and have all age appropriate shots. There will not be any placement of any cat or kitten that has not been spayed or neutered first. There will be no exceptions. This means that there is less out of pocket costs for people who adopt a cat or kitten from us and you will be in 100% COMPLIANCE WITH THE SPAY/NEUTER LAW TOO, which is so important to help combat the pet overpopulation crisis.
