Stella's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Stella's Story...
Sweet Stella is a lovely girl of no more than about 18 months of age who is in need of a loving forever home. She weighs in at approximately 65 pounds, and has the appearance of a black and tan German Shepherd with the traditional saddle markings, but she was a stray so we cannot be certain if she is a single breed. Stella has a wonderful temperament and is good with well-mannered children other dogs, but a home without cats would be best. She will need some basic training as she pulls a bit on leash, but is eager to please and has oodles of potential. Stella is clean inside and travels well in the car. Please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website if you can offer pretty Stella a new home for the holidays.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stella, a Rigaud German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
