Rosie - FOSTER HOME NEEDED!

Full of life and full of love!!

I am a huge love bug who loves to cuddle up or play! I have lots of energy and like to run around or toss around my toys. I'm learning how to fetch and love going for walks or running around the back yard. I also LOVE big hugs and attention! I would love to have a family to call my own!

BREED: American Pitbull Terrier mix
COLOR: Tan and White
GENDER: Spayed Female
BIRTHDATE: November 2013
WEIGHT: 70 pounds

GENERAL SOCIALIZATION NOTES:

I am definitely not shy at all! I am great with all adults and kids! I love humans! I just need some work on learning how to play with other dogs without upsetting them or them upsetting me. I want to play with them so bad though! If I am in a home with other dogs, it's best to keep me separated from them until I can learn how to play with them better. I do great when I go to Wag n Wash and other pet stores with other dogs near me. I just need help learning how to act with them off the leash. I am also crate trained, but haven't had the opportunity to roam freely in a home to see if I'm house trained yet.

DOES THE DOG LIKE OTHER PETS:

I like other dogs but have a hard time playing with them and being too rough. My current foster family doesn't think I was ever exposed to other dogs before, so I'm still learning how to behave with other animals so I don't upset them. I'm best on a leash when around other dogs. I also love to chase kitties, so living with them probably wouldn't be the best idea. My most ideal home would be me as the only family pet so I can get all the love and attention for myself!

DOES THE DOG LIKE CHILDREN?

I love children of all ages! I like to play soccer with my current foster family's ten year old son and also run around the track with him! I'm a people dog, that's for sure! Just keep an eye on the little ones though because I can be a little clumsy and booty bump them!

FAVORITE TOYS:

I love stuffed toys so I can remove all the stuffing! I also like to chase after balls and sticks in the yard!

FOREVER HOME:

I am so full of love and I'm looking for a home that will give me lots of love back. I like to live indoors where it's warm since I don't have thick fur. I have lots of energy so I need a home that helps me get plenty of exercise. I, also, need a family who's willing to be patient with me so I can learn how to play with other dogs better and who can help me learn good manners like not jumping up on people. It would be best for me to be the only dog in the house but if anything, the home definitely needs to be a cat free zone. Just look at my face and big ears!! Don't you want to give me a loving home today?
