Here's what the humans have to say about me:
NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
Princess Diamond arrived in the Kingdom on August 13th, she barely had any fur left on her body, she was in pain due to her paws being swollen and she was weak from lack of food. Diamond was treated immediately for worms, as she had whip worms, and we started on her a slow diet of food, so we did not put her system into shock. She saw our royal vet and was diagnosed with demodex mange, but was heartworm negative. Diamond was extremely emaciated, weighing in at 37 lbs. She was started on antibiotics, medicated shampoo and a mange medication, and was treated for the next several months. She had her final skin scrape on Dec 14, 2015, and was negative for mange, and we are overjoyed! When she first arrived, you couldn't even tell that she is a 10 month old white German Shepherd. As you can see from her pictures, she has recovered nicely, and we have learned she has quite the sense of humor! We knew from day one, that Diamond truly was a diamond in rough, who is now shining through! Diamond is now 1 years old, she is great with children of all ages and does well with cats, she loves to play with toys and snuggle with her stuffed animals. As Diamond has gotten to feeling better, she has started to show aggression with other dogs, although she does well with dogs in her foster home, we feel it is best to place her in an adoptive home as the only dog. Now that she has recovered medically, we will begin basic obedience training with her, as she needs to learn some manners. Diamond is a typical German Shepherd, and is extremely loyal to those that she loves, and would do best with a family that will continue her training. She will require a grain free food as well. She is housebroken now, loves to go for walks, she is quite the snuggle buddy too! Diamond has been spayed, is current on her shots, including rabies and Bordetella, she has been microchipped, and started on flea and heartworm prevention as well.
Diamond's adoption donation is $300.00
All of our Royal's are spayed or neutered, brought current on all shots, including rabies and bordetella, heartworm tested, wormed, microchipped and receive a dental if needed.
