Facts about Snuggles

  • Breed: Calico
  • Color: Calico Or Dilute Calico
  • Age: Senior
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: FLPS#97
  • Hair: Medium
Sweet Snuggles found herself in need of a new home when both of her human parents passed away and we were lucky enough to find her a foster home.

At 15 years old, Snuggles, is in great shape. She is warm, friendly, house trained and gets along well with all people including children and does well with dogs as well, but is not fond of other cats. Snuggles enjoys sleeping on your chest, sleeping next to you in bed, grooming her humans, eating any plants nearby, and going for short walks on a leash (she's not great at following your lead, but she still enjoys it). Snuggles is completely deaf, so she sometimes gets scared that she is alone and will meow and look for someone to cuddle with. Snuggles is litter trained and eats dried food.

Do you have room in your heart and home for Snuggles?

About Forever Loved Pet Sanctuary

About Our Rescue Group...

Forever Loved Pet Sanctuary (FLPS) is one of only two senior animal rescues in Maricopa County, Arizona. Formed in 2012 as a non-profit 501[c][3] organization, the focus of FLPS is to promote the rescue, adoption, and well-being of senior animals. FLPS also provides public education regarding the value of adopting a senior pet. FLPS serves a public need by offering housing to a limited number of senior pets.

This safe haven, will take the burden of temporary care and housing of senior animals off of local shelters. Inevitably, local shelters resort to euthanizing these abandoned, senior animals at an alarming rate. According to a 2012 statistics report, Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) euthanizes one animal every eight minutes it is open to the public. Euthanasia for senior residents is the primary option for most local shelters because they tend to focus their efforts on a high adoption model that includes younger “more adoptable” animals. FLPS will work with local shelters and rescues to identify the senior animals in need and provide a streamlined process for interested men, women and families who wish to adopt.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Forever Loved Pet Sanctuary (FLPS) is involved with events hosted by PACC911 (Phoenix Animal Care Coalition) and is currently in talks with a local Pet Food retail store to host a monthly adoption event.

Our Adoption Process...

Forever Loved Pet Sanctuary (FLPS) asks for an adoption donation beginning at $150 [depending on age and breed] for each of our fabulous senior dogs and cats. We require that an adoption application be completed as well as a home check.
