Rome is a super sweet 7 yr old boy we rescued a few weeks ago after the only family he had ever known decided to dump him in a shelter to die. Rome is incredibly cute & sweet & happy! He does well with other dogs, and according to his owner, he is respectful to cats also; and good with children. Rome is potty trained although his last owner left him outside mostly...he loves being indoors now! He is also crate trained but he does great staying loose. Rome does appear to have a chronic head tilt & spins in a standing circle when he's excited; it could be from a few different conditions, but most likey long-term effects from a vestibular condition which are harmelss. He's under the care of our vet right now for a few things so we can make sure he's ready for adoption. Everyone who meets him LOVES him! If you are interested in adopting Rome, please contact us at LoneStarDobermanRescue@gmail.com
We adopt to all areas of Texas, and if you are outside of TX, you must be within 5 hours of DFW.. You can also see all of our available dogs on our website at LoneStardobermans.org

About Lone Star Doberman Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an all-volunteer rescue organization that uses a network of people who love Dobermans to transport dogs, perform home visits, and check references. We are a 100% foster home based rescue and do not have a kennel or facility you can visit. Each of our dogs are in different foster dogs an we schedule meet/greets with approved applicants with dogs of interest who are a potential match for their home.

We run entirely on donations. If you can't adopt a dog at this time, why not consider making a financial contribution to provide the food and veterinary care of the dogs we rescue? It allows us to save more dogs. Using Paypal.com, send to jennifer.rentfrow@live.com
