My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Loki! She's a four month old bundle of energy. She's believed to be Jack Russell/dachshund mix. Although she only weighs about 15 pounds don't let her size fool you. She has boundless energy and personality for days! She is use to daily walks and runs but what she loves most is a visit to the dog park where she's able to safely run off lead and play with friends. She would most likely do best in a home with a fenced in yard so she's able to get all the extra energy out safely. A doggy playmate with a comparable energy level would be an added bonus. She does very well with dogs but since she's still a puppy she is learning her manners. She was around a cat before going to her foster home and did well but hasn't been around one since but I believe she would do well after learning and exploring with the cat. Loki loves chasing and playing with the toddler who lives at her foster home however she again is learning her manners. She would do best in a house with older children who could help continue teaching her. She knows basic comments and is house broken. She's had an occasionally accident in the house but only after running around playing. She is crate trained. She "talks" a little at first but now enjoys taking naps in her crate and sleeps in it overnight with her blankets and stuffed reindeer. She gets very excited at meal times but is continuing to learn to sit and wait patiently until her food is ready. Loki loves to be with her people wherever they are and loves cuddling on the couch after a long day of lots of playing. She would be a great addition to any family who's ready to be her forever home! We think she is pretty amazing and wonderfully quirky!
