found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, a special needs pet, and up to date with shots.
As you can see from the big, round eyes, Helen is almost entirely blind. Her vision impairment bothers her very little, though. She eats, plays, and uses the litterbox like a fully sighted kitty. The vets think the vision loss happened as an adult, so at times Helen does become startled if someone touches her without speaking first. For this reason, she would also probably prefer a quieter home. Helen has had a little experience with dogs and other cats, and could probably share a home with other calm, non-aggressive pets, as long as they are introduced properly.
Helen responds to her name, and will come towards the sound of your voice. When she gets to you, she usually greets you with “head bumps”, purring all the while. She likes chasing toys with bells on them, especially stuffed ones that she can capture and “rabbit kick” with her back legs.
After play time, Helen likes to sit next to you for petting and brushing.
Won’t you consider this beautiful, unique girl? She is waiting to meet you!
