My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chance is a 1 yr. old, 11 lb Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound/Rat terrier mix. This poor little guy was hit by a car and broke several bones in his pelvic area. By the time we got to him, his bones had healed and the vet decided not to go in and try to reset them. Chance is a normal, energetic little boy who loves running and playing with other dogs. He seems to be have adapted to his situation and knows his limitations and will stop playing when he gets tired. He needs a home with a carpet and a yard. He cannot or will not walk on slick surfaces such as linoleum, wood or tile as he may slide and this can hurt him. He also has difficulty walking on sidewalks and only walks on grass. He has the sweetest nature. Chance can be a lttle shy with strangers but he gets along well with them after a few hours. He is not at all aggressive or fearful - just a complete lovebug. He has home therapy exercises and goes to therapy twice a week in West L.A. He needs a patient, loving home with someone who will take him to therapy and work with him so that Chance can get the best shot at a happy, healthy life.
