Say hi to KoKo! This beautiful girl is a 9 year old Persian. She was surrendered to us because her owners could not longer care for her. Koko is a very sweet girl that loves older respectful yoga (she will exercise with you) and any type of bag or box in which to play! As sweet as she is, she doesn't like sharing your love with any pushy cats and she would prefer to be the "Queen in her Castle". Koko is not fond of being over handled so we recommend a home where children will not want to carry her around the house, and can wait and respect when she wants attention. She will curl up with you but does not care for being doted on, which being a Persian she needs to have her face cleaned regularly and brushed. She was in such bad shape that we recently had to have her shaved. Koko is alos allergic to fleas. Koko has not lived with dogs so we are not sure how she would do with them. If you are ready to care for an adorable lady and give her what cats need, Koko will repay you with lots of fun and love! Her adoption fee is $50.00. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, FeLV/FIV/HW testing, microchip ID, vaccines including Rabies, one month free pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and post adoption support!

About Our Rescue Group...

Tender Care Animal Rescue is a 100% Volunteer, No-Kill Non-Profit Organization with a 501(c)3 status located in Vancouver, Washington. As an independent, non-profit organization, Tender Care Animal Rescue is not directly affiliated with, nor do we receive regular funding from, any other organization or Humane Shelter. Our adoption, education, clinical and care services are supported by gifts from generous, caring friends like you. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law and go to caring for the animals.
We provide temporary shelter and medical care for adoptable animals from overcrowded shelters or animals facing euthanasia in shelters, until they are adopted into a loving permanent home through our adoption program. For this reason we have very limited for space for owner surrenders and strays,(unless young orphans).
Please call your local Animal Control Office or Humane Society if you have any questions in regards to abandoned animals (may be subject to legal issues), injured animals or wildlife.
