Skipper's Story...
This is Skipper. He is a wonderful 8 year old chihuahua mix who is fully house trained. He has been around kids and other small dogs and does great with them! Skipper recently had a dental and had a few teeth pulled. He will also sit nicely to have his teeth brushed!

He absolutely loves going on walks! He sits very patiently while getting his sweaters and leash on. Skipper does have some puppy moments where he likes to run around and play fetch with his stuffed animals, but mostly he likes to cuddle or lay looking out the window. He is definitely a lover and a very sweet dog

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801, www.campcompanion.org, or find us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skipper, a Rochester Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
