Toby's Story...
Toby is a very loving little cutie that will be your side for the long haul.
Toby is a miniature schnauzer/poodle mix around 2 years old. Toby is potty trained up to 6-8 hours. He Would like to be the only dog in the house and would do best without cats.
Toby is a low energy pup. He has no preference for female or males, just as long as you take it slow at first. Toby is ok by himself for short periods of time, but he really wants to be doing whatever you are doing. Because he is skittish at first, We would prefer a slower paced lifestyle for Toby with no young children and few visitors. Toby would be a perfect companion dog. Toby will need regular grooming to keep up his handsome look. If you would like to meet Toby, please fill out his online application at www.secondchancesalem.org His adoption fee is: $300

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Salem Miniature Schnauzer/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Schnauzer/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Salem, or seeking a Miniature Schnauzer/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Schnauzer/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Miniature Schnauzer/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
