My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I'm Degas and I'm an adorable work of art. I'm 3/4 IG, 1/4 Min Pin and 100 percent heart-melting sweetness.

I'm 4 months old and weigh 8 lbs so far. I like being next to my humans pretty much all of the time. I'm playful and lively but not super high energy as you would expect from a puppy. I like toys and can even fetch but curling up next to you is my main priority.

I may be a bit shy when you first get to know me but I really am a social butterfly and love everybody. I like going on excursions with my foster family and am glad that my city has plenty of dog-friendly establishments. Although be warned - you will get a lot of attention when we are out together because almost everyone who sees me will be fascinated.

I grew up with siblings so I'm used to being around other small dogs. Right now I'm an only dog in a house with no other pets and that can get a little lonely. The perfect forever home would be with a family who can spend a lot of quality time with me. I also would like being around another small dog again. I don't mind traveling in the car in my crate but I really don't like being away from my humans at night when it's time to go in my pen- I am working on that.

I am learning how to be potty trained and I expect a treat when I go potty outside. I sometimes have accidents inside because I am still a puppy. However I am learning life pretty quickly and am becoming an excellent dog citizen. I am learning how to walk on a leash - I don't love it yet but I'm sure I will eventually because it means that I get to be with you.

I don't mean to brag but I really do have an awesome personality. I'm just a sweet, smart, blossoming boy who will bring great joy to your life as I have to my foster parents. I am looking forward to my new life in my forever home.
