Facts about Celestina

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Gray, Blue Or Silver Tabby
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Celestina is a super sweet 5 year old tabby girl looking to find a home for the holidays... Her last family threw her out on the street when they moved and we can't understand why. Bah Humbug!! But we are hoping you can make up for their callous treatment of her and give her a home in the true spirit of the holidays. She's the ideal girl to have as your companion. Celestina is super affectionate and loves to be snuggled and pet ...but she isn't overly needy - she won't follow you from room to room demanding attention. A balanced cat! She's good at giving you space should you need it! If not she will happily keep you company. She is playful and will chase string, laser pointers, etc and will be a lovely cat for someone who is looking for an affectionate yet independent girl. She's also very healthy, spayed, FIV and FeLV negative and up to date on all.

About Our Rescue Group...

Small World Animal Rescue is dedicated to helping New York City animals and pet owners in need.

Our Adoption Process...

Small World Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that recognizes the bond between people and their companion animals. We ask that you make an adoption contribution to support our work if your application is approved. To give you a sense of some of our expenses, it usually costs more than $300 to prepare and board an animal for adoption. This includes everything from initial examinations, to the necessary vaccinations, FIV/FELV testing, microchipping, food, laundry, boarding, and general staff time. In addition, these costs include all spaying or neutering of adult animals. The average nonrefundable donation is $175 and the minimum is $150.
All adult animals have already been spayed or neutered prior to being available for adoption. If they are too young they are brought back in to be spayed or neutered.
