Molly's Story...
This dog's fosterhome is located in:
****Auburn, California****

Molly has been adopted! -- Please look at our other Rat Terriers awaiting homes!

Four year old Molly was picked up as a stray. She gets along with the other two Rat Terriers in her foster home and is anxious to meet any dog we encounter on our walks. She does well on a leash. Molly is fascinated by the cats in her foster home and would probably chase them if they ran. She is fairly well house trained and has only had one accident. She knows when we go outside it is time to do her business and usually goes on command. Molly is very calm and she has an excellent temperament. She is eager to please and we have started her on a few basic commands. She would probably be okay with children over 12 years old that would be respectful of her and her small size of 12 pounds. Please consider Molly as your next forever friend; you won’t be disappointed!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Festus Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Festus, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Festus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Festus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Festus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Festus paves the way for another one to be saved.
