Mama Lucy and the Peanuts Gang are now luckily safe and warm in a foster home. Sweet little Peppermint Patty is the smallest puppy in the litter. At 6 weeks (around 12/25), she weighed 1.8 lbs. She is a cuddle bug, and she can often be found laying on her back snuggled up to one of the boys. She's calm and submissive with the others. She enjoys following the adult dogs around, and finding new ways to sleep on her back. She also likes to wrestle with her siblings and chase the fleecy balls. Make sure you see more pictures of the Peanuts Gang!

This gang will all be ready for new homes soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patty, a Garland Rat Terrier/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Garland, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Garland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garland paves the way for another one to be saved.
