Little Waylon's mom is a rat terrier named Jodi, but Waylon's daddy was probably a cattle dog/blue heeler. In Texas, they call them 'Rattlers.' He's about 3.4 pounds at 10 weeks old, which is T-I-N-Y, but he's a very lucky puppy. Waylon was born in a shelter, and he made it out alive. He is as cute as a button, and needs a very special home to continue his good luck. Waylon was too sick to vaccinate at 8 weeks, so he has just now begun his vaccinations and will be ready for adoption very soon! Do you need a little country boy in your life? Please consider Waylon! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Waylon, a Garland Rat Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Garland, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Garland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garland paves the way for another one to be saved.
