Gator has been adopted! -- Please look at our other Rat Terriers awaiting homes!

Gator was found as a stray and turned in to ResQ by a good Samaritan. He is about 20 pounds and 2 to 3 years old. Gator loves toys! He will play ball and keep-away as long as you will play too. He is smart and obedient, and loves to sleep in a crate or a doggie bed on the floor. He is housebroken with a pet door, and is super affectionate. In fact, this dog can't 'hold his licker!' He will give you lots of rattie kisses! Gator has completed heartworm treatment and our vet says he is ready to find his new family. Gator is a full-of-life, spunky character and would do best with a fenced backyard and maybe some kids of his own to play with. Gator would be a wonderful family dog. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gator, a Aberdeen Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Aberdeen, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Aberdeen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aberdeen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aberdeen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aberdeen paves the way for another one to be saved.
