Charley is a mellow, kid-friendly guy who is looking for a new home. He was pulled from an Arkansas shelter when his time ran out. Charley is 3 to 4 years old, about 23 pounds, and very muscular and solid. He loves children and is an avid face-kisser. Charley is crate trained and housebroken with a doggie door. He is just an all-around sweet guy! Charley may have some Mountain Feist in his background, which explains the more muscular build. He definitely needs a fenced backyard to run in, and someone to play with, but he is very happy to settle in next to you on the sofa for a little nap time. Do you need a happy guy to share the sofa with? Check out more photos of Charley!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charley, a Aberdeen Rat Terrier/Feist dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Feist for sale in Aberdeen, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Feist dog from a breeder in Aberdeen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aberdeen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aberdeen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Feist breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aberdeen paves the way for another one to be saved.
