Daisy's Story...

This dog's fosterhome is located in: ****Sunrise, Florida**** Meet Daisy, a petite and beautiful 4 year-old foster who was rescued from a high-kill shelter in South Florida. She weighs only 11 lbs and is white with black spots. Most pf the spots are on her face in the form of a mask, which is so cute!  She also has some spots on her back.

This little girl is completely housebroken and crate trained. She adores children and other dogs. Daisy is so easy going and laid back. She walks well on a leash and loves to sit up high when she goes on a car ride.  Daisy does not do well with cats and has a high prey drive to chase them. Daisy loves to roll and stretch in the grass under the sun. She is not a digger or a barker. She is very content with just being out and playing with the others.  When indoors, you can always find her curled in one of her many beds. Chances are that you will find her in the bed nearest where you are as she loves the human companionship.  Daisy will do great in any home environment, big or small, young or mature, she will be perfect.  Wouldn't  you love a little flower like Daisy in your life?  For pictures on Daisy, please follow the link:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Memphis Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Memphis, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Memphis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Memphis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Memphis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Memphis paves the way for another one to be saved.
