Cute as a button! Let us introduce you to Sutton! If you are looking for a loyal, calm, snuggly companion, Sutton fits the bill perfectly. He is such a sweetheart and loves to give kisses. He does great with all of his canine friends in his fosterhome; both boys and girls. He learned to use the doggie door within the first hour of being in his fosterhome with no potty accidents, we are happy to say! He comfortably and calmly sleeps in bed overnight, but is crated whenever we leave the
house. We've heard him whimper a bit when we do leave, but feel that he is learning the routine well and should have no issues in the future. We lovingly refer to him as 'wiggle butt' as his cute little stubby tail is always moving a mile a minute when he greets you and comes up for attention. This 4- to 5- year-old, 15-lb. boy loves his belly rubbed and his head and ears scratched. His coat is so soft and almost a little fluffy. He is also rather independent and will go off and take a snooze or lay somewhere and chew on his cow hooves. We just think Sutton is an all-around great dog sure to make a special family's life
complete! Please see more pictures of Sutton!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sutton, a of Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in of, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in of.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in of already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a of breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in of paves the way for another one to be saved.
