ADOPTED! Pluto's Story...
This dog's fosterhome is located in: ****Valrico, Florida**** Pluto has been adopted! -- Please look at our other Rat Terriers awaiting homes! Hi, my name is Pluto. My foster mom named me after the planet, because I’m small. I weigh about 17 lbs and am about 3 to 5 years old. Before I came to live with my foster mom, I was homeless. I was brought to a shelter, but nobody came looking for me. After a while, my time was up. I was very scared, but then my foster mom showed up to take me out of that scary place. I’m a very good boy. I never go potty in the house. I’m learning to sit and stay, but I have to stay on a leash whenever I go outside. I like to go exploring, but I might get lost if I wander off. I met a 12-year-old kid and I loved him! I’m good with dogs and I met cats and totally ignored them! What I really, really wanted for Christmas was a family of my own, but no luck so far! Can you help me have a fantastic new year in a new home? Yours truly, Pluto [P.S. See more pictures of me!]

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ADOPTED! Pluto, a Babson Park Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Babson Park, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Babson Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Babson Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Babson Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Babson Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
