Meet Delilah! We love this fun sweet silly girl! Delilah is about a year old and about 50 lbs. We are not sure what her breed is but would guess some sort of lab mixed with a whole lot of cuteness and love. Her ideal home would have someone willing to throw a ball for her, take her for walks and give her belly rubs! Chasing a ball is one of her favorite things and she is an expert. She will bring it back every time. We just started teaching her to catch a Frisbee and she would love to have someone to help her become a Frisbee expert too. We love to see her happy face when she knows she is going outside to play. If you don’t keep throwing the ball for her, she will toss it around for herself. And when she gets tired she will find a soft patch of grass for a rest and maybe a belly rub.
Delilah also enjoys going on for walks and would probably enjoy jogging, hiking, or running too. She does well on a leash and has been good when we have passed people or dogs on a walk.
She likes her foster dog brothers and will toss toys to get them to play too. She is totally house trained and has not had any accidents in the house. She is also crate trained and does great everyday in her crate.
Delilah knows some basic commands like sit, lay and come. She is a smart girl and hopes she will find a home where she can learn more fun tricks! She does not beg for food and is gentle taking a treat. And she does not bark much. She does well on a car ride too. She is an affectionate dog and a good snuggler. And of course she is beautiful. We love her shiny coat and the tan swirls on her feet.
Delilah is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, heartworm prevention and flea prevention. She is currently being fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but she is not picky about where she ends up as long as she is loved.
