Shelby's Story...

SHELBY IS 'ONE OF A KIND'

Shelby is 7 months old. He is an absolute sweetheart!! Nothing bothers him!!

He loves to curl up on your lap and sleep but he also LOVES to play! His favorite toys are crinkle balls and laser pointers!

He would do great in ANY home. He loves to play with other cats, doesn't even pay attention to the dogs and loves kids of all ages!

He lays right down in front of people so you can pet him! Shelby is one of a kind!!'

Shelby would do best in a home with at least one other cat. He is just such a sweetheart and really loves to play with other cats. He would be lonely being an only cat.

Shelby's adoption fee is $90.00.

All of our cats have been spayed/neutered, had age appropriate vaccines, flea treated, combo or FeLV tested, and dewormed.

If you are interested in adopting any of our cats or kittens please complete an adoption application at: http://kellerskatsrescue.org/adoption-application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shelby, a Walworth Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Walworth, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Walworth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walworth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walworth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walworth paves the way for another one to be saved.
