Kokomo's Story...

Meet Kokomo she is female gray and white medium haired kitty who was born 7/20/15.

She is super sweet and loves everyone including the huge dogs at her foster house. She loves attention and has silent meows.

On August 30th we were asked to help a situation at a Hamlin Barn where the owner had died and the cats and kittens were left to fend for themselves. Kokomo was one of the kittens that was found starving, full of fleas and crying for help.

She has since been in a foster home where she received all the love and attention that she wanted. She has been fully vetted and is now looking for her forever home.

Our current fee for adopting a cat under 6 months is $120.00. Kittens over 6 months to 1 year is $90.00 and adult cats over 1 year $60.00 .

All of our cats have been spayed/neutered, had age appropriate vaccines, flea treated, combo or FeLV tested, and dewormed.

If you are interested in adopting any of our cats or kittens please complete an adoption application at:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kokomo, a Walworth Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Walworth, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Walworth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walworth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walworth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walworth paves the way for another one to be saved.
