My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kenosha! One of the recently-arrived timid K pups, who were dumped in a rancher’s corral in rural Colorado, Kenosha was the only female, as well as the most bold of the bunch. When we first saw photos of the pups, she was sitting up and looking straight at the camera, while all her brothers buried their heads to the floor. She continues to come out of her shell and learn in her foster home.

Kenosha is interested in people, but seems to be a little more on the reserved side. She loves to cuddle at the end of the day after she is all tired out. This cutie really enjoys the company of canines and her favorite activity is playing with other dogs. She would do best in a home with other dogs. She is curious about toys and shows fetching potential. She has not been tested with cats. At only 5 months old or so, Kenosha is full of puppy energy and needs a good daily dose of vigorous exercise.

It’s likely the K pups were never inside of a home, but Kenosha is learning quickly about creature comforts! She loves her crate and is on the way to being housetrained. She is a bright girl but still just a pup with lots more to learn. Her new family will need to continue with manners training, as well as socializing her thoughtfully so she gains confidence and learns that the big bright world is a great place to be!

All in all Kenosha is a nice pup who will make a fabulous family companion to adopters who have time and energy to devote to puppy raising! If you are looking for a pup filled with potential, freckle-faced Kenosha may be the one for you.

Kenosha is spayed, up to date on shots, and living in a loving foster home south of Denver, CO.
