Freckles's Story...

Freckles is amazing with ALL people, a very gentle soul with a high ambition of obtaining attention and affection from those around him. Highly intelligent, Freckles is very interested in learning what he can do to be a good dog and a person’s best friend. Freckles was left alone in a yard all day and night, going out only for the occasional car ride. Despite a lack of socialization, he’s incredibly loving and sweet. Freckles does excellent on a leash, in a car, is very food driven, walks very well with other dogs, is potty trained, and becomes very relaxed and lazy once home. With the proper training, he could adapt to living with another pet.

If you are interested in meeting Freckles, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.

[Freckles is 4 years old and weighs about 40 lbs.]

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Freckles, a Marina del Rey Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
