My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Robbins is a 1-2 year old border collie lab mix. Where do I start with Robbins. First, he is the smartest dog I have ever met. Smarter than some humans I know. Aside from the basics like kennel trained and house trained, basic commands etc, Robbins knows special tricks. Let's be honest, who doesn't want a dog who can fetch a beer, wait patiently while you drink it then dispose of it when it's gone? Well Robbins can do all of that and then some. If you have horses Robbins is the guy for you. He is perfect at leading them in from the pasture and he works cheap. In all seriousness, Robbins would make an ASTOUNDING agility dog. Yes he's an ordinary back dog on the outside but he is so much more than that on the inside. He is alert and eager to please always!
For an adoption application on Robbins please email baversa1@gmail.com.
His adoption fee of 450.00 covers all of his vetting, microchip and transport to his new family.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
