Wayne has been waiting a whole year & still hasn't found his people/person. It's surprises us because Wayne is the perfect motivational work out partner to get you up & out . His smile & soulful eyes can brighten anyone's day. Waynes build is on the smaller side, lean & fit ... he's loves biking, jogs on the beach, hiking trails , whatever it may be this boy is up for anything beautiful SoCal has to offer. Wayne has never met a person he didn't like & he's a huge crusher especially with the ladies so expect lots of belly rub engaging & sloppy kisses. He would do best in a home without other animals (no small dogs or cats) or a larger breed with proper introductions . He can be selective when choosing his friends but aren't we all.  Wayne is at perfect health and weight , walks amazing on leash (prong) & is consistently working on training daily. He loves to engage with people & stay busy so would definitely benefit in an active household. Has a very independent side as well ...where he enjoys durable bones & naps that involve adorable light snores.

About Home Free Animal Rescue & Sanctuary - CA

About Our Rescue Group...

Home Free is a 501c3 tax exempt organization located in Newport Beach, CA. Our goals are quite simple: to save as many animals as possible from being killed in America’s shelters. More than 9000 animals are killed every day, which equates to more than 4 million each year. This is an atrocious number. If we all work together and do our part, this number can eventually be reduced to zero.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have a facility in Newport Beach, CA. Please contact us to arrange to meet any dog or cat you like. We will also have periodic adoption events which will be announced on our website and our Facebook page. Some of our dogs are in foster homes in other areas.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an adoption application be filled out, along with an adoption agreement once the applicant is approved to adopt a particular animal. We also require a $125 adoption fee.
