Rockwell is a male Havanese mix only 1 year old. He has a buttery soft, thick, cream colored coat that is gently wavy and non-shedding. His ears are a light apricot color. Rockwell is a sturdy boy weighing 17 pounds full-grown. He loves to walk on leash and will become very animated when its time to go out. His delight in the simple things like rolling around in the grass or romping in the park is cute and amusing. Rockwell is a young dog, still learning the ways of the world and looks to his people for direction. He has a sensitive heart and responds well to a gentle touch and kind words. He likes his space and does not appear to need another dog in the home to feel secure. He seems to like a peaceful environment without a lot of chaos and commotion. Rockwell, indeed, seems to be a more refined, classy young gentleman. He is quiet in the home and does not make a fuss if you need to go somewhere for a while and leave him behind. He knows how to amuse himself and will most likely settle down in his dog bed for a nap or quietly investigate a new toy. He is simple and easy to please. Rockwell is not recommended for younger children because he doesn't really like to be tugged on and manhandled. He is affectionate and loving, but is the kind of dog that will simply snuggle down next to you on the couch while you watch TV or hang out in the kitchen while you cook. And of course, if you like to take walks, Rockwell is your boy. Rockwell was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. He is very healthy and ready for his new loving forever home today!
Rockwell’s adoption donation is $450 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Rockwell is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Rachel and is ready for his forever home.
